Transparencies Intro

Transparencies are short pieces of writing intended for this website.

Some are childhood memories. Some are sweet, some poignant. Some on
the other hand can be more adult and some quite dark. Don't expect them
to be all flowers and raindrops.

The concept and the title were inspired by Rimbaud's Illuminations even
though the style and intention is very different. For that I owe more to
Joyce's Dubliners. I try to pick moments of fugue, insight or illumination.

So now I have put myself in company where the comparison can only work
to my disadvantage - please explore.
